Composition is often overlooked but is an important factor in creating a successful work of art. With a little forethought and planning you can add the “wow” factor to your work. In this presentation we’ll look at a few key principles of composition that are easy to remember and can be applied to your botanical art. 

Bio:

​Betsy Rogers-Knox earned a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from The NYBG and is enchanted by the full lifecycle of plants and their habitats. Her work has been included in the 13th-26th ASBA International Exhibitions and the 3rd -5th NYBG Triennial Exhibitions. Betsy received a Gold Medal at the 2024 RHS Exhibition and the RHS Botanical Art Judges Special Award for the educational and ecological value of her paintings of Beckley Bog in 2019.
