MARGARET KASTING

Meg Kasting  took her first class at the Minnesota School of Botanical Art in 2015.  Meg, never formally trained or a dabbler in art, was intrigued with botanical art as a hobby in anticipation of having more time after her youngest child left for college, and as a way to explore  parts of herself and the world that she never had before.

Recently retired after 30 plus years as an insurance executive she is looking forward to spending more time painting and drawing.  She finds studying at the school an excellent way to improve her skill, stay motivated and focused on the wonderful and addictive world of botanical art!
